Dear guests,
To make your stay even better, we have selected a few recommended restaurants, from fast food to well known chef.
To make it easy to prepare your meal, there are a few supermarket around: Intermarché, Auchan, Carrefour, Lidl, Aldi.
Some supermarkets offer the option “Drive” – which means that you can order online and pick up at the supermarket directly. You will see the options in the guide. We would be happy to pick up your first food shopping before your arrival, so you can enjoy your stay fully – just let us know.
Several bakeries are at easy driving distance – listed in the booklet.
If you are keen to visit the surroundings, please don’t hesitate to ask us directly or what’s app – there are a lot of activities for adults and children too within an easy drive. Some flyers are also on display in the cottage.

Walks on the side of The Seine river, just around the 2 lakes of
Bouafles. This is such a great walk along the greenway to get
to Les Andelys or Coucelles-Sur-Seine, or just for a nice
connection with nature.
Château Gaillard: Magnificent fortified castle of King Richard Coeur de Lion.
Castle is on top a hill overlooking one of the most beautiful view of the Seine river.
You can walk around for free in the Basse Cour, however to access the dungeon, you will need to pay a small fee. Open from April to October. Also possibility to have a guided tour of the castle and learn about the history.
Fondation Claude Monet: Something you don’t want to miss while you are here.
Plan to visit the house of Claude Monet (1883-1926), with his own painting studio and his works, as well as the beautiful Asian Style garden.

Biotropica
A unique Zoo like no other!
Biotropica is an animal gardens with a huge tropical greenhouse of 5000m2, as well as an outdoor park, for a total area of 10 hectares. Meet the animals as if they were in your back garden!
Le Randonn’Eure: This is ideal for a fun, original walk enjoying nature. You can also hire canoe kayak or stand up paddle for a nice time on the Eure river, with or without instructor.
Open from April to October from 9am till 7pm every day.
Tolysland: Discover this great amusement park adapted for children from 2 to 13 years old. Enjoy various outside games, a swimming pool, train tour, picnic areas and snack bars – a day packed with fun for the family!
Vélorails: This is a great way to discover the Eure valley onboard rail bikes. There are 2 cycle-rail circuits for up to 4 people. Must reserve as it gets full.
